Founded by a Physical Therapist, Built for Organizations
KH Ergo & Wellness was founded on a simple observation: traditional ergonomics consulting wasn't solving the root problem. Organizations were spending thousands on equipment but nothing on education. Employees stayed uncomfortable. HR stayed overwhelmed. Nothing changed.

Our founder, Krys Hines, PT, DPT, MBA, saw this pattern repeatedly while treating orthopedic injuries in clinical practice. Patients would complete physical therapy, feel better, and return to work—only to re-injure themselves within months. The problem wasn't their recovery. It was their work environment and the complete absence of education about how to maintain what they'd achieved.
That realization led to a different approach: training-first ergonomics.
Rather than just assessing workspaces and recommending equipment, we built comprehensive training programs that create organizational alignment. When employees AND the teams that support them (HR, facilities, wellness, procurement) all speak the same language, everything changes. Friction disappears. Requests get resolved faster. Equipment gets used properly. Employees feel empowered.

Since 2015, we've helped organizations from tech startups to Fortune 500 companies build scalable ergonomics programs rooted in clinical expertise. Our approach is different because it's grounded in physical therapy principles—we understand not just how furniture should be arranged, but how the human body responds to sustained postures, repetitive movements, and suboptimal positioning.

What drives us is seeing the transformation that happens when organizations invest in training. When leadership prioritizes education, employees feel valued. Injury rates drop. Productivity improves. Culture shifts.
That's the impact we're working to create—one workplace at a time.

Our Approach: Why It Works
Most ergonomics programs fail because they focus on checking boxes rather than changing outcomes. Employees get a generic assessment, receive a list of equipment recommendations, and then nothing changes.
Here's how we do things differently
What Guides Our Work
Evidence-Based Practice
Every recommendation we make is grounded in clinical research, biomechanical principles, and proven intervention strategies. We don't follow trends—we follow science.
Measurable Impact
We're committed to demonstrating ROI through concrete metrics: reduced injury rates, lower costs, improved productivity, and employee satisfaction.
People-First Design
Technology and furniture are tools, not solutions. Our programs prioritize human needs, capabilities, and wellbeing above all else.
Education & Empowerment
We don't create dependency. We educate employees and equip leadership teams to sustain ergonomics excellence long after our engagement ends.
Practical Implementation
The best program is the one that actually gets implemented. We design solutions that fit real budgets, real timelines, and real organizational constraints.
Continuous Improvement
The best ergonomics programs evolve. We build feedback loops, track outcomes, and continuously refine approaches to maximize long-term success.
